Firm Associates & Patent Agents

The Firm’s associate patent attorneys and agents are highly experienced in their respective fields of technology and patent practice. We hire patent professionals who require minimal training and are capable of independent work. Notwithstanding, the Partners closely supervise non-Partner work products to ensure the highest quality.

Outstanding and Well-Trained Staff

Our secretaries and paralegals are highly experienced individuals, and most have ten years or more of practice. The Firm’s structured practice group approach also allocates administrative staff to specific clients to further maintain continuity of high quality service.

Promoting Client IP Education

Our Partners also have extensive experience in coordinating and lecturing at intellectual property seminars in the United States and worldwide, attended primarily by patent managers from foreign corporations. The Firm routinely hosts trainees from foreign law firms and corporations, sometimes on a multi-year basis, to provide extensive hands on learning and grounding in United States patent and trademark laws and United States Patent and Trademark Office practice.

Team Approach

To best understand and protect our clients’ technologies, the Firm assigns at least one Partner, and one or more associates/agents (as necessary), who are the most knowledgeable in the clients’ fields. This continuity of service promotes maximum protection of our clients’ intellectual property at lower cost. The Firm’s approach results in very high allowance rates without compromising claim scope.

Deadline Administration System

The Firm utilizes highly reputable docketing software to monitor each official deadline. The Firm also implements a stringent checking process to promote the integrity of our deadline management system. To ensure perfection, our practice groups independently docket all deadlines.
