Trainees from foreign patent law firms and corporations are routinely hosted by the firm, some on a multi-year basis, to provide an extensive hands-on learning experience and grounding in United States Patent Laws and United States Patent and Trademark Office Practice, with an emphasis on patent procurement matters.

PATENT ATTORNEY

Patent Attorney – a progressive Alexandria based Patent firm has an immediate opening for an experienced patent attorney. Electrical Engineering degree and experience in semi-conductor technology is desired.Excellent communication skills, writing, proofreading and editing are necessary. LEGAL ASSISTANT, PATENT

Patent secretary needed for mid-size IP boutique law firm in Alexandria. Two to five years patent prosecution experience desired, though not required for the right candidate. Knowledge of current U.S. patent prosecution procedures; EFS, PAIR, Microsoft Office Suite and billing software is helpful. Excellent communication skills, writing, proofreading,editing and attention to detail and timeliness are necessary.
