Amir H. Behnia

Mr. Behnia's practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of mechanical and electro-mechanical patent applications.
Mr. Behnia earned his Juris Doctor degree at Hofstra University School of Law. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Structures) from Boston University and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Behnia was previously associated with an Alexandria intellectual property law firm as an attorney for over eight years, and prior to that he worked as an attorney for a large intellectual property law firm in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
Mr. Behnia is admitted to the New York bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association.
