Mr. Hu serves as an Associate for the Firm. His practice is primarily focusing on preparing and prosecuting patent applications for foreign and US clients in the field of mechanical and electrical arts.
Mr. Hu has experience in procurement matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including drafting and prosecuting patents, conducting examiner interviews. In addition, Mr. Hu advises clients on IP due diligence opinion matters such as preparing freedom-to-operate, validity, infringement, and patentability opinions.
Mr. Hu holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree from George Washington University Law School, specialized in Intellectual Property Law. He received a Master of Law (J.M.) degree in Peking University Law School, Beijing, China and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Sichuan University, Sichuan, China.
