Dr. Lutwyche has worked for more than 20 years in prestigious research laboratories of several large corporations including Hitachi in Japan, IBM in Switzerland and Seagate in the U.S.A. As the author of many peer reviewed scientific papers and the inventor on several U.S. patents, he has worked on numerous projects in subject areas that include hard disk drives, probe storage, MEMS, NAND flash technology, Organic LEDs, TFT displays, Voltage Dependent Resistive Memories, Planar Optical Wave Guides and various medical devices.
Dr. Lutwyche is a registered U.S. Patent Agent with over three years of experience in patent work over and above the patents of which he is the inventor. This experience includes patent prosecution and drafting as well as work on projects involving patent mapping and due diligence.
Dr. Lutwyche was educated at Cambridge University, UK and Imperial College London, UK, and has a BS in Physics and a PhD in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering. His PhD included work on micromachines, MEMS, Nanotechnology, semiconductors and measurement.
