Gregory Brummett serves as Of Counsel at Hauptman Ham LLP, where his practice focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property counseling. He has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, as well as advising clients on validity, infringement, and patentability matters.

Mr. Brummett’s practice includes preparing provisional and utility applications, prosecuting U.S. patent applications before the USPTO and appeals before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI), and handling international PCT applications to secure patent rights abroad. He also drafts development and joint venture agreements, licensing agreements, and provides substantive revision of foreign-origin applications.

In addition to his prosecution and counseling work, Mr. Brummett has represented clients in litigation before U.S. District Courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the International Trade Commission, managing all phases of litigation from pre-litigation opinions to settlement negotiations and trial.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Brummett spent seven years as a Semiconductor Process Engineer at a Texas Instruments CMOS fabrication facility in Dallas, Texas, focusing on diffusion and ion implantation processes.
