Dr. Seung Yup Lee is a Patent Agent at Hauptman Ham LLP with a practice focused on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in materials science, electrical engineering, and chemistry. He brings over a decade of research and industry experience, complemented by academic achievements and extensive publication and patent credits.
Before entering the intellectual property field, Dr. Lee conducted research with leading companies including LG and Hyundai Groups, as well as the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). His technical background spans photovoltaic devices, semiconductors, display technologies, and batteries. In addition, he has been named as an inventor on 26 registered patents and has authored 13 peer-reviewed journal articles.
Dr. Lee has also served as an adjunct professor at Kyungpook National University, further contributing to the advancement of materials science and engineering.
